Seller of Purple Cloth • Early Church
Lydia was a seller of purple cloth from Thyatira who lived in Philippi and worshiped God. She listened as Paul preached beside the river, and the Lord opened her heart to respond to his message. Lydia and her household were baptized, and she welcomed Paul and his companions into her home.
