Prophet of Israel • Divided Kingdom
Oded was a prophet in the northern kingdom of Israel during the reign of Pekah. He confronted the Israelite army after they defeated Judah and took many captives, warning them not to enslave their fellow Israelites. His message led to the release, care, and return of the captives to Judah.
