Captain of the Guard of Babylon • Babylonian Exile
Nebuzaradan was the captain of the guard serving under King Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylon. He led the Babylonian forces that destroyed Jerusalem in 586 BC, burned the temple, deported many of the remaining inhabitants, and oversaw the final collapse of the Kingdom of Judah.
