The Exiles of Judah were the people of the Kingdom of Judah deported to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar II during several waves of captivity between 605 BC and 586 BC. Many members of the royal family, nobles, craftsmen, and priests were taken away while Jerusalem and the temple were eventually destroyed. During the exile, prophets such as Ezekiel and Daniel ministered to the displaced people and spoke of both judgment and future restoration.
